General Info
I'm originally from the Chicagoland area. I was born there in November of 1977.
I've lived in the Midwest my whole life, in either Illinois or Wisconsin. I went to college at
UW Parkside. Graduated in 2000 with a Bachellor's Degree in Computer Science. From there I got
a job in Stevens Point, Wisconsin at Sentry Insurance.
As of this writing, I'm still employed there doing Java development, team lead, and project management.
I also do web design and development on the side, which is where is fine website came from.
If you've listened to episode #1, then you know that I got into miniatures and war gaming at a very young age. Somewhere around 9 or 10. At that time I played D&D, Warhammer 40K, and Battletech among others. I got into Warhammer Fantasy Battles when I moved to Stevens Point, in early 2001. That was when I started the Dwarf army (called Karak Einherjar). Before that I had a very large Warhammer 40K army. It was Cadian Imperial Guard. I got back into 40K when I lived in Milwaukee for a few years before moving up North to Stevens Point. I never really played 40K as an adult, I just enjoyed building and painting the models.
It was in early 2005 that I began the Beastmen army.
That project was mostly wrapped up
by early 2008, though I still add to it to this day.
Most recently I've been working on the Bull Ogre Kingdoms, and the Orctonnians. That's a Minotaur themed Ogre army, and a themed Bret army using Orc models;.
Personal Interests
My main personal interests include music. My favorite genres include punk rock, psychobilly, rockabilly, indie rock, folk, acoustic, and classic Oi!. I'm also into classic country music, mostly the type of stuff that gets associated with the 50's.
I'm into tattoos quite a bit. I have more than I care to count. I started at the young age of 18 in 1995, and I still go several times a year. Once you get that itch, it's hard to scratch it!
I enjoy doing technical things, and staying current on computers/computing. One example would be hand-coding this entire webpage, as well as all of my others. Graphic/image design is another hobby I really get a kick out of. Along similar lines, I really enjoy working with my hands. Building things, home improvement, working on my car, really anything along those lines.
Fitness & health are a big part of my life. I work out 5 days most weeks, doing weight training and cardio. Fortunately I got into that young, and now it's just something I do.
Other than all that, I really enjoy hanging out with friends; socializing at the local taverns from time to time, and enjoying some brews!

How do you know when you're too drunk? I've smoked a pack of cigs in two hours, or I'm wrestling some random guy in the street, or I'm in a bar with my shirt off, or I whip out my wiener, the list goes on...
Why do you play Warhammer? Who knows. I ask myself that question all the time.
Which Bar Room Hero do you dislike the most and why? Chad Hanson. There was one time that he let us stay at his house, and I ended up in the stinkiest bedroom I've ever been in.
